An imposing 19th century Kingwood, Sevres plaques and ormolu mounted credenza of serpentine form, the wonderful Sienna serpentine shaped moulded top above the shaped frieze below decorated with three rectangular hand painted Sèvres plaques flanked by five square Sèvres painted plaques. The central paneled door with book matched pattern Kingwood veneers centered by a central Sevres painted porcelain plaque bordered by four hand painted Sevres porcelain plaques. The central door opens to reveal a shelf and plenty of storage space for drinks, glasses, crockery, etc. The end doors are serpentine and glazed, each encloses a central shelf perfect for displaying your ornaments, resting on a serpentine shaped plinth which is decorated with ormolu patraes and mounts, the size and quality makes this an important and unique piece of furniture.
