A fine Louis XIV style ormolu, brass and tortoiseshell Boulle style mantel clock in the Baroque taste - 19th century, in the manner of Martinot of Paris, the eight day movement striking the half hours on a bell, with key, fronted by a cast brass dial decorated in bas relief with a cherub mask, an angel and beast heads amidst foliate Arabesques, the chapter ring with black and white enamel Roman cushion numerals, above an arcaded architectural panel, the caddy top case with scrolling foliate decoration in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle, eight flame finials and caryatid and acanthus leaf mounts, on toupie feet,
