A George III Mahogany Bracket Clock by Charles Hull, Dublin, the arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring engraved with Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt spandrels and subsidiary strike/silent dial signed “Chas. Hull, Dublin”. The finely matted centre with date aperture and pierced blued steel hands. The twin–fusee movement with verge escapement, striking the hours on a bell. Contained in a figured mahogany case of refined proportion with arched top and brass carrying handle, glazed side panels and brass sound frets, standing on block feet.
