A magnificent quality 19th century gilt bronze mounted burr walnut, kingwood, purplewood and fruitwood inlaid credenza. Having a shaped Carrara moulded marble top above an ormolu beaded edge, the frieze with classical English Wedgwood plaques. The magnificent pair of panelled doors with central oval Wedgewood plaques, one depicting a young lady leaning against a pillar, the other depicting a young lady lighting a fire on an urn, enclosing a shelved fitted interior, flanked by a pair of reeded columns, again flanked by convex ends each with a mirrored back and two shelves. The whole supported on a burr walnut veneered plinth with turned bun feet.
