A superb quality eight day mahogany and satinwood inlaid tubular chiming longcase clock. The hood with broken swan neck pediment with a central brass sphere, above a brass arch dial, set with silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals with chime or silent feature playing a choice of Westminister or Whittington tunes on the eight tubular gong bells striking a further gong bell each hour, flanked by two fluted brass pilasters to arched door with beveled glass revealing eight brass tubes, brass pendulum and three brass weights, standing on an ornate inlaid plinth base supported by bracket feet.
