An exceptional early 18th century longcase clock by Thomas Sanderson of Dublin. The 12" brass dial has a separate silvered brass chapter ring with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar with an engraved surround. The hood with swan neck cartouche broken pediment, filled with a palmette above a carved frieze centred by a lion mask, flanked by columns above a waisted case and and solid panel door on moulded plinth with bracket feet.
